Earlier today, cinema lovers around the world were dropped with their first peak into the world of Wes Anderson's next original production, through the form of the poster for his upcoming movie "Asteroid City".
Before today, very little was known about the film, and this still remains the case, other than the fact that we now know what names are listed in the never-ending ensemble of this production.
In the past, Wes Anderson movies are known for having an absolutely stacked cast (amongst other things), from The Royal Tenenbaums all the way to The French Dispatch. And this certainly seems to be the case with Asteroid City.
The poster itself reveals a long list of talented A-list actors such as Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Willem Dafoe, Margot Robbie - to name a few.
Eagerly excited fans will have to wait a little bit longer to see a trailer for Anderson's next production, but given the fact that the movie is due a summer release, we can expect to see one very shortly.
Not only does it not seem that long ago since The French Dispatch hit our screens, but this year we will see not one, but two Wes Anderson productions through the form of Asteroid City and his Roald Dahl adaptation "The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar", due to be released on Netflix.
Other than the fact that the cast is ludicrously stacked, there is little to know about Asteroid City based on the information provided. But what we do know is that it is a 1955-set romantic comedy, where the itinerary of a Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention is spectacularly disrupted by world-changing events.
But if we want to know anything more, we will simply have to wait.
