Secret Invasion Trailer Suggests "One Last Fight" For Nick Fury

Ever since Marvel's "WandaVision" hit our small screens back in 2019, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been expanding at a much faster rate than ever before - but through the form of television.

WandaVision set the platform for Marvel's recent run of limited series' to appear on Disney+, and the recent addition to this impressive roster comes through the form of Marvel's Secret Invasion.

Other than a fairly impressive and talented cast, there is little to know about what Secret Invasion will consist of.

Who is the main villain?

Who are the main characters?

Where does the story take place?

All questions, that despite the recent first trailer release, are still to be answered.

What we do know is that the show will revolve around the centre of Nick Fury. Which by the looks of the trailer, could well be the last time wee see Samuel L. Jackson reprise his iconic role as the former Leader of S.H.I.E.L.D.

The latest trailer drop ends with Nick Fury saying the line "One Last Fight", which only fills fans with concern and causes them to wonder: "Is this the last time we see Nick Fury on screen?"

Potentially so.

Along with Samuel L. Jackson reprising his role as Agent Fury, the trailer also confirmed that Cobie Smulders will be once again returning as Agent Maria Hill, along with Martin Freeman appearing as Everett Ross, not long after his most recent turn in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

As much there are old faces, there are also new. With British acting trio: Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke and Kingsley Ben-Adir all set to make their MCU debuts in Secret Invasion.

Clarke and Colman are set to bring to life newcomers, Abigail Brand and Sonya Falsworth to the MCU stage. With Ben-Adir with the responsibility of playing "Gravik", who is known to be the antagonist throughout the limited series.

Despite the recent trailer drop, there are still many questions hovering over the head of Secret Invasion. One thing we know for sure is that it will definitely be worth a watch.

Marvel's Secret Invasion is hitting our small screen's on Disney+ on June 21st, view the full trailer here:
