Killers Of The Flower Moon Trailer Reunites De Niro & DiCaprio Once More
After a long and anticipating wait, excited fans all around the world were finally treated with their first look into Martin Scorsese’s “Killers Of The Flower Moon”, and it did not disappoint.
Once it was announced that De Niro and DiCaprio would be reuniting to appear on screen alongside one another for the first time since “This Boy’s Life” (1993), fans were sent into overload.
With that information, then piled on by even more exciting news that confirmed the picture would be directed by none other than Martin Scorsese, the movie is destined to sell.
Both of these actors have worked with Scorsese a number of times throughout their careers. With DiCaprio collaborating with Scorsese on films such as The Wolf Of Wall Street, The Departed, Gangs Of New York and various more. And De Niro working with the iconic director on movies such as Goodfellas, Casino and Taxi Driver.
Despite the immense amount of collaboration between Scorsese and the two legendary actors, this is the first time that the three have all worked together on one production.
Not far into the film’s production, it was announced that DiCaprio would be taking a much smaller role than originally planned due to creative differences with the writing team, and that his original role would be pursued by Jesse Plemons.
However, we only see Plemons feature for a slight moment in the short teaser, and we did see DiCaprio presented as the lead in this movie. Providing fans with the need to question the depth of Plemons role in this film.
The story for Killers Of The Flower Moon has been adapted by Scorsese and Eric Roth, from the book originally written by David Grann in 2017.
Fans who have no knowledge about the storyline of this movie aren’t given much more clues throughout the trailer. However, just short of two minutes is a generous amount of time and information to provide fans with, especially for a teaser trailer.
