Deadpool 3 First Look Previews Retro Wolverine Outfit

The internet was sent into oblivion the moment Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds publicly posted the first insight into the highly anticipated Deadpool 3.

It was announced last year, in hilarious fashion I might add, that Hugh Jackman would be making his return to the iconic role of Wolverine, in Deadpool 3.

The Australian actor has portrayed the Marvel anti-hero a whopping 9 times, the most recent being “Logan”, in which we saw the character succumb to his weakness and face death in extremely emotional fashion.

Until Reynolds and Jackman announced to the world that Wolverine would in fact reappear once more in Deadpool 3, Marvel fans all around the world had no choice but to believe that Wolverine’s story was over.

Whilst Deadpool 3 isn’t set for cinematic release until May of 2024, yesterday fans received their first tease of the film’s contents, through the form of a photo that features the two characters side by side.

Reynolds is pictured wearing his iconic Deadpool suit that we have seen him feature in throughout the past two movies, whereas Jackman can be seen pictured wearing a retro yellow and blue Wolverine fit that we are yet to see within a live-action production.

Despite featuring as the character 9 times, dating all the way back to 2000, much to the audiences displeasure, we never actually saw him feature in the iconic blue and yellow suit.

Well it seems that when Deadpool 3 arrives to the big screen in May of 2024, we may finally get that chance.
