Cage Is Back To His Best In 'Dream Scenario' Trailer
In the last 48 hours, movie fans have been treated to the first insight into A24 next intriguing project, Dream Scenario.
Dream Scenario, directed by Kristoffer Borgli, follows the story of Paul Matthews, an American high-school teacher who eventually becomes famous after being seen and recognised in a number of people's dreams all around the world.
As previously mentioned, the film is distributed by A24, as the production company look to add to their impressive roster of films throughout 2023.
So far this year, A24 has gathered plenty of critics appraisal with films such as Talk To Me, Past Lives, and even Ari Aster's Beau Is Afraid. If Kristoffer Borgli's 'Dream Scenario' is as promising as it seems, it will be the next to join the list.
Earlier this year, we sae Nicholas Cage feature alongside Nicholas Hoult in Chris McKay's 'Renfield'. The film, which sees Cage feature as the iconic Count Dracula, was deemed a failure at the box office.
However, Cage seems to be back to his absolute best in 'Dream Scenario' as his performance has been hailed as "pitch-perfect brilliant".
If you are wondering as to where you have heard the name 'Kristoffer Borgli' before, the chances are that you haven't.
The film director and writer is mostly known for his work on the Norwegian comedy/drama 'Sick Of Myself'. Despite the project being Borgli's first full length feature, the picture received a Rotten Tomatoes score of 88%.
It goes without saying that 'Dream Scenario' will be Borgli's largest directional project to date. But with names such as Nicholas Cage, Michael Cera and Tim Meadows attached to the project, you can't go far wrong.
